Manned Guarding

Our head office is based in London, and we provide manned guarding services nationwide across the UK.

Yes. We offer continuous manned guarding services, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Yes. All officers deployed by Prestige Secure Services Ltd are fully SIA licensed, vetted, and trained.

Manned guarding is used across a wide range of industries, including construction, retail, warehousing and logistics, corporate offices, residential developments, and industrial sites, anywhere that benefits from a visible, on-site security presence.

Mobile Patrols

See the full Mobile Patrols page for more detail.

Cost depends on how many visits per day or week your site needs and the size of the area to be checked. Mobile patrols are generally more cost-effective than a permanently staffed post, and we provide a clear, tailored quote once we understand your site.

Patrol frequency is built around your site's risk profile, from a single nightly visit to multiple checks throughout the day and night. Visits can be scheduled, randomised, or a mix of both.

Yes. Mobile patrols are frequently combined with our keyholding and alarm response service, so the same team can hold your keys, respond to activations and carry out routine site checks.

CCTV Monitoring

See the full CCTV Monitoring page for more detail.

Our operators watch live camera feeds and respond to alarm triggers from your site, verifying whether an incident is genuine and taking action such as contacting keyholders, dispatching a mobile patrol, or alerting emergency services.

We monitor your existing CCTV and alarm systems remotely, so there is no need to replace your current hardware. We work with your existing setup to provide live monitoring and rapid response.

Yes. CCTV monitoring is frequently combined with our mobile patrol and keyholding services, so a verified incident can be followed up with an officer attending your site directly.

Keyholding & Alarm Response

See the full Keyholding & Alarm Response page for more detail.

Keyholding means we hold a secure copy of your premises keys and take responsibility for attending your site whenever an alarm is triggered out of hours, so you or your staff never have to attend an activation in person.

Our control team dispatches the nearest response officer as soon as an alarm activates, in line with the ACPO guideline that a keyholder should attend within 20 minutes of notification.

Yes. Every keyholding and alarm response officer is SIA licensed, fully vetted, and trained to carry out perimeter checks, access point inspections and incident reporting to a consistent standard.

Event Security

See the full Event Security page for more detail.

The number of security personnel required depends on factors such as attendance numbers, venue size, event type and risk level. We can assess your requirements and recommend an appropriate security deployment.

Yes. All security personnel deployed to your event hold valid SIA licences and receive ongoing professional training.

The cost of event security depends on several factors, including event size, duration, location, risk level and the number of personnel required. Contact us for a tailored quotation based on your specific requirements.

Concierge Security

See the full Concierge Security page for more detail.

A concierge security officer combines professional security duties with front-of-house responsibilities. They greet and register visitors, manage access control, monitor CCTV systems, handle deliveries, manage keys, respond to alarms, and support emergency procedures β€” all while maintaining a welcoming and professional presence on behalf of your organisation.

A standard security guard focuses purely on physical security duties such as patrolling and deterring threats. A concierge security officer carries out all of those responsibilities while also acting as the professional face of your building β€” greeting visitors, managing reception, handling enquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for residents, staff, and guests.

Yes. All of our concierge security officers hold a valid SIA licence. Prestige Secure Services is fully compliant with UK Security Industry Authority requirements, giving you the assurance that every officer deployed to your premises is professionally trained and legally authorised to carry out their duties.

Fire Marshals & Fire Safety

See the full Fire Marshals page for more detail.

The terms are generally used interchangeably in the UK. Both describe a trained individual responsible for fire prevention checks, hazard spotting and coordinating a safe evacuation if a fire is detected.

Yes. Waking watch officers provide continuous, 24-hour fire watch cover for buildings where the fire alarm system is faulty, under repair, or temporarily disabled, until it is fully operational again.

Yes. Our fire marshals help plan and run fire drills, brief staff or residents beforehand, coordinate the evacuation itself, and provide feedback afterwards to improve your site's procedures.

Security Consultancy

See the full Security Consultancy page for more detail.

We start by understanding your site, operations and existing arrangements, then carry out a risk assessment and security audit before recommending a tailored strategy covering staffing, access control and technology.

Yes. Every assessment is followed by a written report setting out the risks identified, our recommendations, and practical next steps you can act on.

Yes. We regularly assess sites with an existing guarding, CCTV or access control provider already in place, and our recommendations are based on what your site actually needs.

Sector-Specific Security

See the full All Sectors page for more detail.

A construction site's perimeter, contractor list and asset value change constantly as a project progresses, unlike a fixed commercial building. Multiple trades come and go, high-value plant and materials are often left overnight or over weekends, and site access points shift as work moves between phases β€” so security needs to be reassessed and adjusted throughout the build, not set once at the start.

Education security typically covers controlled access and visitor management, gate supervision at drop-off and pick-up times, perimeter patrols, CCTV monitoring, and structured incident and safeguarding reporting. Prestige Secure Services tailors this mix to each school, college or university site.

Hospitality security typically covers front-of-house and concierge presence, night security and mobile patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control and key management, and event or peak-period cover. Prestige Secure Services tailors this mix to the venue β€” a hotel, restaurant, bar, or event space each has a different risk profile.

Retail security typically covers store detectives and floor officers, CCTV and loss prevention monitoring, deterrent patrols, stock protection at high-risk areas, emergency response, and out-of-hours keyholding. Prestige Secure Services tailors this mix to each store's shrinkage profile and footfall.

Warehouses and logistics sites combine large open floor areas, multiple vehicle and pedestrian access points, and constant HGV movement, often across 24-hour shift patterns. That combination creates more entry points to control and more moving parts to monitor than a standard commercial building, which is why our officers are briefed specifically on each site's layout and traffic flow rather than a generic patrol pattern.
